Based in the small town of Rusk, Clint Alford began songwriting at the young age of 19. Over the course of the the next few years he worked on perfecting his songwriter ability and was in constant search for his own unique sound.  In 2010 Alford started an acoustic driven group known as The Kid Icarus Project. The band played every party, bar and restaurant around the east Texas area.  The band went on to win best Americana Band at the 2017 East Texas Music Awards.
